Project Description:
Belmont Village Rancho Santa Fe is a senior living community situated on a scenic 7-acre site in San Diego County. Designed as a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE), it features 185 units across a central three-story building with underground parking and six single-story cottages, offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
The Tuscan-inspired architecture incorporates tile roofs, arched openings, Juliette balconies, and wrought iron accents. Light and dark plaster finishes, stone veneers, and bronze trims create a harmonious design that blends with the surrounding neighborhood.
Amenities emphasize indoor-outdoor connectivity, centered around a courtyard with a saltwater pool, outdoor fitness area, bistro, bar, BBQ, and multiple seating zones. Private patios and gardens enhance the inviting atmosphere. Indoor amenities include a town hall, dining spaces, a screening room, fitness and wellness center, and more.
Sustainability features include underground parking to reduce heat island effects, energy-efficient cooling systems, solar panels, and EV charging stations. The design exceeds energy code by 8% and uses recycled water throughout for irrigation.
Located in a Wildland-Urban Interface zone, the project incorporates ignition-resistant materials, fire-resistant windows, and defensible landscaping to mitigate wildfire risks while maintaining a lush, green environment.
